·      Introduction to Floral Arranging

·      Discussion on Principles and Elements of Design

·      Hands on activity focusing on Creating Depth in an arrangement

Please bring:

·      Sharp scissors

·      Paper bag to bring your scraps home for composting 

·      $5 fee to cover mechanics and greens

·      One supermarket bunch of mixed flowers (6-10 stems)

·      Box or bucket to transport design home

Note: There will be time for questions and a little homework given!

Our next Floral Design Workshop is scheduled for Saturday October 17th - Tools of the Trade.  The October workshop will include a session led by Marie Brennan-Chasin where you will learn how to create your own teacup arrangement. This hands-on activity will focus on Proportion and Scale within a design. More details on this workshop will be forthcoming.
