Sharon Train Station Project

The Sharon Train Station

The traffic circle on the Providence bound side of the train station needs a face lift. The photo below shows the poor condition of the traffic circle. This is what people see when they walk off the train, and it’s not showing the best of Sharon. The photo to the left shows the circle since the site was cleared by the DPW. Over the summer, we plan to replant this area, using drought resistant and native plants. Our April Gardening Forum helped raise funds for this project, but we would appreciate additional funding to maintain this area in the future.

Help us make Sharon a beautiful place to live by donating below. Thank you!

Before DPW cleared site, ready for planting

The Sharon Garden Club is always busy! We maintain the raised beds outside Angel's Cafe and the public walkway by the First Baptist Church. Every year we encourage residents to buy and plant daffodil bulbs in our annual daffodil bulb sale. Interested becoming a member?
