Mindful Outdoor Experience
At Jean Zaniewski’s. Join us as Susan Novice shares her skills as a leader in this outdoor activity which provides an opportunity to slow down and unwind.
Shinrin-Yoku, or immersing one’s self in the forest, started in Japan in the 1980’s. Forest bathing has been found to have both physical and mental health benefits.
Participants are guided through mindful breathing, movements and walking. They are guided to open all their senses through a series of invitations, bringing awareness to the present moment and connecting with the natural world in new ways.
This program will run, weather permitting. Please bring a towel, mat or a light portable chair.
Annual Dinner Meeting
Members only. Celebrate and honor our Present and Future President’s at this end of Club year event. At the Cape Club of Sharon, 25 Tiot Street, Sharon.
N.B. The walk from the car park is a little long. There will be a golf cart to transport you to the Club if needed.

Ed's Prickly Pear and Native Plant Emporium
These were our guest speakers a few months ago, and gave an exceptional talk on native plants. We will meet at Joanne Byrnes house at 11am to make our way to the nursery, which is located on Barneyville Road in Swansea.
Field Trip
Highfield Hall and Gardens are the magnificently restored 1878 estate of the Beebe family, and the house is one of the few remaining examples of stick style Queen Anne architecture in the Northeast.

Gardening Forum
At the Sharon High School Cafeteria. Vendors, demonstrations, gardening supplies and more. Monies raised will go to the Sharon Railroad Station Civic Beautification Project.
Please sign up to help: we need sponsors and vendors, designers to interpret art work by Sharon Middle Schoolers, worker bees to help with set up and break down, and help with publicity. Each SGC member is asked to sell a minimum of four tickets to this event.

Philadelphia Flower Show
We leave by train on March 5th and spend the night in Philadelphia. See the Flower Show on the 6th and then home by train. Contact Pat Simmons or Laura Foster if you plan to attend
